Pre-season is here!!

Finally pre-season is here for the 12wbt! I have been waiting for this day for 2 weeks! Normally I would have eaten every "bad" food I could get my hands on before my "diet" started but this time has been different. I don't know why, maybe the whole new years resolution had something to do with it, and also the realisation that any kgs I pack on by doing that only adds to the overall kgs I have to lose in the long run! So I am very proud to say that I have lost 3.9kgs in the last 2 weeks since signing up to the 12wbt. I have to share with you my secret tool (well not really a secret as I'm sure thousands are doing it too) the My Fitness Pal app on the iPhone is fantastic and had potentially turned my life around!
Essentially it is a calorie counter and calculates all the calories you consume on a daily basis. It tells you at the start how many to consume each say to get to your goal. But the thing I like most is at the end of the day after you have input everything you have eaten it tells you what you will weigh in just 5 short weeks! It is so motivating! Only something small but it has definitely worked for me and what I plan on using to keep me on track throughout pre-season. I am very much looking forward to receiving Mich's diet plans to really give my eating an overhaul but in the meantime this is a great tool!
So on the first day of pre-season I have weighed in at 73.9kgs. I'm feeling really good about that as I have started diets as high as 88.8kgs before and that was daunting! I have completed my first pre-season task and looking forward to the next! Join me! Xo
